Founded in 1998 by Ron and Frances Maggard as a 501(c) 3
non-profit corporation, CARELINK International represents an
important extension to their existing missionary ministry. Since
1977 the Maggards have been involved in evangelism, church
planting and missions, traveling in 48 U.S. states and 14 countries.
Since its early days as a humanitarian outreach to Cuba,
CARELINK has undergone a number of positive growth stages:

March
1998 - Cuban medical outreach providing education,
counseling, medical supplies, equipment and other
humanitarian aid

January 2000 - Began working in
Jupiter, Florida along side of Beacon Baptist Church. Mobile feeding program
servicing the local Hispanic population.

July 2000 - Joint venture with
a coalition
of volunteer doctors, nurses, clerical and other medical
personnel, provided a program of free monthly health
screenings to the local community.

September 2002 - Opening of the
CARELINK clinic in Jupiter Florida. Dedicated to serving the
non-insured, homeless and ethnic immigrant community,
this free walk-in clinic has logged thousands hours of
volunteer service and provided care for hundreds. |

CARELINK International is a fundamental,
independent Baptist ministry working with U.S. Churches and
foreign missionaries of like faith & practice for the express
purpose of enabling, extending and enhancing their mission
outreach. The primary purpose of CARELINK is to organize and lead
evangelistic teams that will assist missionaries, national pastors
and churches in their outreach ministries. This assistance
includes providing Scriptures, Christian literature, medicine,
medical supplies and other humanitarian aid which is useful in
gaining an opening to spread the Gospel.
